Organizations

The main purpose of the American Nihonjin Organization is to educate the community about the history and culture of Japanese Americans. By holding weekly meetings and workshops in order to accomplish these goals. The club will host many social and cultural events and fundraisers that will allow students to have fun and meet new people. The overall goal of this club is to educate the community in a fun interactive way.

American Nihonjin Organization (ANO)

Break Dance Club (BDC)

B-boying or breaking, commonly called breakdancing, is a style of dance that evolved as part of hip-hop culture during the 1970s. It is danced to both hip-hop and other genres of music that are often remixed to prolong the musical breaks.

Practice Schedule:

-Sundays 4-6pm in Smith Gym 115
-Mondays 8-10pm in Smith Gym 115
-Fridays 5-7pm in PEB 145 (mat room)

The Lovely Sisterhood of Chi Delta Sigma Sorority (CDS)

"The purpose of the lovely sisterhood of Chi Delta Sigma Sorority is to: provide a support group for women in need of sisterhood; shape their true characters; give them a foundation for personal growth; and bring guidance in academic excellence."



Chi Delta Sigma is the first and only Asian American Pacific Islander interest sorority on Washington State Campus. It was founded February 8th, 2007.

The Filipino American Student Association of Washington State University seeks to educate the university community about Filipino cultures and the contributions of Filipino Americans. The objective of the organization is to represent the issues of all Filipino students and to provide a network of support for those students. Though exclusive in name gearing toward Filipinos our organization is not exclusive in membership. Many of our members are of non-Filipino decent and also serve as officers. Through education, service, and social activities, a space is created where individuals can find their own culture and discover themselves.

Filipino American Student Association (FASA)

The Hawai'i Club at WSU serves to provide a social and collaborative support system within the Pullman community amongst individuals interested in the aspects and traditions of the state of Hawai'i, through and participation in university events, fundraisers, community service projects, and our annual Mom's Weekend Luau.

Vietnamese Student Association (VSA)

The Vietnamese Student Associaction strive to be the most passionte organization in raising interest and awareness of Vietnamese culture towards the student population at Washington State Univeristy as well as the surrounding community in Pullman, WA, through cultural events and activites of various scales. In addition we aim to foster a kindred spirit amongst students who are inclined to expand their interpersonal network, both academically and socially.

The mission of the Pacific Islanders Club is to provide peer support to students from the Pacific Islands. We sponsor cultural and social activities in the interest of promoting diversity in the WSU community and awareness of our unique heritages and histories. The Pacific Islanders Club advocates enrichment in learning and empowerment through working with student organizations and interested members of the WSU community to provide a network of support for our members.

Pacific Islanders Club (PIC)

Mitamitaga O Samoa's Mission is: To teach our students, professional faculty and community about our Samoan culture. To promote higher education to AAPI high school students. To live and breath the encompassing concept of the Samoan way of life.

Mitamitaga O Somoa (MOS)

The purpose of this club is to support pre-health students from under-represented populations and communities through volunteer and research opportunities, as well as chances to meet professionals in their future careers, and provide information on professional school related matters.


The goal for this, our founding year, is to go to the national conference.



The mission of MAPS is to get as many minorities into a health profession career as possible! While elimating our community health disparies!

Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS)

The mission of the organization is to promote Lambda Phi Epsilon and its brothers by:

- Developing our active members to become leaders through training and hands-on experience, to advance personal growth and to achieve academic excellence.

- Perpetuating leadership of our alumni members in the community, creating opportunities and encouraging the spirit of fellowship.

- Promoting positive Asian American awareness and providing the highest level of philanthropy in the community.
